Wash and brush without stressing bonds.
A calm wash day that keeps bonds secure and hair soft — the habits we teach after every install.

A wash that protects the install
This URL is the wash-and-brush guide. Rushing the roots is what shortens wear. Slow down at the bond line; be thorough on the lengths. The studio overview of daily habits lives on aftercare.
- Detangle dry, carefully. Hold hair above the tangle. Work from ends upward with a soft brush.
- Lukewarm water only. Hot water loosens adhesives and fades custom color faster.
- Shampoo the scalp. Finger pads, not nails. Let suds run through lengths — do not scrub bonds or bead rows.
- Condition mid to ends. Keep rich masks off the attachment area. Rinse cool.
- Blot, then dry bonds. Microfiber wrap. Blow-dry roots/bonds fully on cool or low before you sleep.
Wash cadence is personal — often 1–2× per week. If your scalp needs more, ask us for a method-safe plan rather than dry-shampooing the bond line every day. Night routine: sleep and bonds.
How do you brush hair with extensions?
Brushing is the other half of wash day — and the question people actually type into search. Use a soft extension brush or wide-tooth comb. Support the hair above the knot. Start at the ends and walk up. Never yank through a wet bond line, and never brush from the root down through a tangle.
If a bond feels tight, slips, or the hair mats at the nape, stop and send photos. That is a correction conversation, not a harder brush.
